While I love to teach, I also love taking workshops by other artists. You can learn so much by not only their process, but you also get the opportunity to hang out and socialize with other creative.
Last week I took a workshop at Open House Creative in Costa Mesa. I absolutely loved everything about the environment - it was open, warm, welcoming, with a modern and industrial flare. My goal was to create an abstract cityscape of DTLA. Not perfect, but pretty darn close if you ask me. Art is subjective after all, right?
One day I hope to be able work with the team at Open House Creative to host a workshop or work with them in their summer kid camps.
